The mission of the Arizona Sled Hockey Association is to reach as many people as possible in our community and demonstrate that hockey is truly for everyone, regardless of disability or economic situation. We are dedicated and committed to enhancing the lives of our military veterans, disabled children and adults, and the disabled community as a whole.

Our objective is to promote the sport of sled hockey in the state of Arizona. We are the only team in the state, and everything we do is to serve the community and our athletes. The beneficiaries of these services are primarily those with disabilities, although we welcome able-bodied people as well. We take pride in the diversity of our b
Our objective is to promote the sport of sled hockey in the state of Arizona. We are the only team in the state, and everything we do is to serve the community and our athletes. The beneficiaries of these services are primarily those with disabilities, although we welcome able-bodied people as well. We take pride in the diversity of our beneficiaries, players, and volunteers, as everyone has a unique backstory. We have players who are kids born with a disability, military veterans, former first responders injured in the line of duty, women diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses, and players who have endured physical trauma from accidents and unfortunate life circumstances.

Our involvement with the community and partnership with the Arizona Coyotes, the AZPVA, Ability360, etc., help us to connect with individuals who could benefit from adaptive sports. Consistent ice times, volunteer staff, plentiful gear, and skilled players are key to delivering these services. Success is measured when these events are attended and lives are positively affected. Winning past league and national championships also brings additional recognition, which helps with exposure and builds interest in the sport.
